Reminders

Monday (1/31) practice will be held from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the erg room. Please eat something when class gets out at noon so that your body has enough fuel to get through the workout.

A recruitment/information session is scheduled for Thursday February 4th at 2:35pm (HS Room 111). Do your best to spread the word this week and generate some excitement about rowing (aka. don't just complain about how hard it is all the time). Novices this is especially important for you; the more people you can recruit the better shot you have at competing and doing well at races this spring. Take ownership of your team!

Lastly your hundredth reminder to focus on staying/getting healthy:
1. Sleep. a lot.
2. Drink water. a lot of it.
3. Wash your hands often.
4. Bring a change of clothes to practice to minimize your time in sweaty gross spandex.
5. Don't be a hero; let one of your coaches know if you're feeling sick.

I expect to schedule the Monday following a Sunday regatta off unless there is a "rigging day" specified.

Spring Break Schedule will likely be 9am-2:30pm daily. I would very much like to take a short training trip on one or two of these days which will need to be reviewed by the board/president, etc before it can be confirmed.

As of now I expect to run only one practice per day! Yeah! Depending on the novice recruiting effort we may amend that as we go, but we are doing our best to make that happen for everyone's sanity.
