Momentum

The HT crew club had their third and final 2k ergometer test on Tuesday and it was our best to date. Several athletes finally toppled marks that they have been chasing for some time. Junior Catie Ely overcame the 8'O curse to finally finish south of the 2:00 per/500-m avg mark with a time of 7:57. For the first time in the team's history there are now 7 girls under 8 minutes. Junior Ryan Clark gutted out a rough final 500-m to finish under 7 minutes, a 10 second improvement over his last 2k test!

Sophomore Jim Howley finished in 6:49, breaking his own school record by 4 seconds.

Sophomore Novice, Nicole DiTommaso nearly toppled Senior, Tori King's team record in her first try, pulling a 7:46, a good score for a young rower.

Hello All;

We will be skedaddling to the Schuylkill River tomorrow because there will just be no way to get on the river at the Cooper unfortunately. Practice will be at 10: 15 in Philly by the Canoe Club. I apologize for the change. Schedule for Sunday is here. We will return to the boathouse to unload and rig immediately following the last race and Monday will be off as long as this is completed.

Swim Test for Novices

All novices need to complete the swim test this Sunday at 4:30pm.The test should not take longer then half an hour and will be held at Royal Fitness
