Ht also hauled in a second place finishes in the Men's Novice 4x, and Men's Varsity 4x and third place in the women's JV 2x. The Women's Senior 2x and the men's JV 2x (novices in a varsity event) both finished fourth in their events with solid races.
I am extremely proud of the effort put forth by the Men's Varsity 4x. They have had a tough season thus far and Ryan Rosseau, Matt Glace, Erik Monzo, and Bill Harte fought like mad to get across the line ahead of their third place rivals, winning silver in a photo finish.
I think it was a very important and special moment in the team's short history to stand on the medals dock with so many Haddon Township athletes wearing medals around their necks. As a coach, it is always special when the entire team performs so well and so many athletes have a good experience especially after how hard we have worked this fall and winter.
NOVICE MEN'S 4X FOR TOMORROW: We still have not been able to gain access to the regatta tomrrow for your boat. I would assume unless otherwise notified that you will not be racing. In the event of a last minute scratch you will be notified tomorrow morning and your race would be at either 2:36 or 2:42 pm.
