Welcome to another season of Haddon Township Crew.
This Fall promises to be a challenging, competitive, and fun season for Haddon Township Crew. For the first time in the club's history, the majority of returning HT athletes participated and competed in rowing camps throughout the summer. Whether improving technique and small boat skills on the Cooper, or learning racing technique with Vesper in Philly - these experiences provide the foundation for growth and improvement as we enter the fall season.
Practice will begin on September 12th at 4:00pm sharp. Saturday practices will occur on land from 10-12pm and will be run by the team captains. Captains must submit the workouts to the coaches for approval by Wednesday each week. The former code of conduct will be strongly enforced. All athletes must review this document, sign, and return it and any known practice conflicts by September 16th.
There will be three 5k erg tests this fall. Each will take place at the HS during regular practice time.
September 16th
September 29th
October 14th
The following races are on the schedule. Please note, not all athletes will attend all races. The Head of the Charles will be for select athletes who prove themselves throughout the season. All rowers will be equally considered based on effort, performance, and fitness.
Head of the Housatonic- New Haven, CT- October 8
Head of the Charles - Boston, MA - October 22 & 23
Head of the Schuylkill Regatta - Philadelphia - October 29 & 30
