Good work to both the men's and woman's team this week. Between seat racing, a surprise erg test, and a collage coach ride along HT rowers certainly had their work cut out for them. The erg test results were impressive. Jim finished first for the Men with a time of 18:29.9. Ryan was second with a time of 18:58.6. For the Woman Nicole continues to challenge her own records with a first place time of 20:28.7. Katie finished second with a time of 21:06.51.
Some other notable performances included Cassidy and Brandon who beat their goal split by over 4 seconds. All of the novices did an excellent job tackling their first of many erg tests to come.
It is a testimony to each rower's hard work and improvement that boat selection for the Charles came down to the eleventh hour. As stated on the first day of practice, selection was based upon erg tests, seat racing, technical ability and experience. The following line-ups will represent HT in Boston in 2011.
